The author deals with Swami Vivekananda’s approach to four of the six systems of Indian philosophy as well as his views on the Upanishads and Bhagavad Gita. Swamiji’s ideas of comparative religion, his response to Western Indology, Western philosophy and his views on history are here discussed perhaps for the first time in detail.
